Booktrope Authors Recognized:
Tess Hardwick's Riversong went to #1 on the Amazon Kindle "Movers and Shakers" list on June 18, and continues to be very popular on e-readers. (Like most of the books published by Booktrope, it's available on Kindle, Nook, and at itunes; many of our fiction titles are available as ebooks for $2.99, and still of course available to read for free here.)
Brian McDonald is speaking at Trickster, a symposium on storytelling in art (and an amazing pop-up store), on July 22 in San Diego. We're pre-releasing his new book, Freeman - a Novella in Screeplay Form, at Trickster where Brian will be signing copies of Freeman, as well as Invisible Ink and The Golden Theme.
Lark Eden, our first Theatertrope play by Natalie Symons, has several upcoming professional productions, the next one at the New American Theater in Tampa Bay on July 21-24 and July 29-31. Click here for a review of this performance. If you're near enough to get to Tampa Bay, get a ticket here.

And, as always, several new books and more on the way:
Two by Hazard Adams: The Day the Dogs Talked, a modern fable with delightful illustrations by Dana Sullivan (newly published) and a reprint, The Truth About Dragons first published in 1970, in which a modern dragon living in the hills above Santa Barbara tells his side of the story. Hazard is a remarkable man, author or editor of over 30 books, including several novels and leading critical works on the poetry of William Blake, William Butler Yeats, and others.
Thank You for Flying Air Zoe, a chicklit romp, with a heroine who's old enough to know bettter and young enought to do it anyway. The first novel by Erik Atwell is a fun summer read.
Coming soon: The Kingdom's Possession by Nicole J. Persun, fantasy from a talented new 17-year old author, who you'll be hearing about for many years to come.
Primary Sources - Poetry from Ann Staley
The Key to Everything - a wild horror / thriller from Alex Kimmell
Cathedral of Dreams - Science fiction from Terry Persun
and too many more to mention here!
