This book will make you afraid to eat 90 per cent of the food you see in the supermarket, but it isn't a bit over the top! Since I found it on Libertarya few months ago we have had a huge outbreak of salmonella that started in egg farms in Iowa. We've seen terrifying articles about the use of antibiotics in factory farmed pigs -- all so the "farmers" can make a few dollars more for each poor animal. It makes you wonder how long this can go on, and why people aren't reacting with real outrage and boycotts.
