Wow -- after the first chapter or so, I thought Ziegler probably did it, even if the evidence was muddy. About the middle of the book I was 50-50. By the end I was convinced he didn't do it, and he clearly didn't get a fair trial. Meantime the crime it's all about was really brutal and it comes across. And Ziegler, no matter the questions about his trial and his innocence, still in jail 30 years later. A really scary book and a great read.
