Reading about the hapless salesman struggling to make cold calls brought me back, and not in a good way. This book is a scream and spot ON for anyone who has tried to sell anything.

The noir detective writing
The noir detective writing helped put the sales stuff in a fun, energetic, light. I wonder, could the author have gone into more depth? Maybe explored some more psychological underpinnings of sales?

Perhaps, but I found the way
Perhaps, but I found the way he talked far too unrealistic. All kidding aside, the basic sales stuff is great, but nothing I didn't already know.
