Great Teachers for Writing Memoir!

I took a class from Sheila Bender years ago and that's how I heard this book was on this site. The class really got me started writing, and I can feel Sheila's supportive tone throughout. She and Christ have experienced all the barriers to writing, including the terrible review. (Even those of us who don't get reviewed know what it's like to have teachers or even friends shoot down our work.) I reallly recommend this book to everyone who wants to get past all that and get their own stories on the page.
