Fool Us Twice

Bush the younger once said, fool me once, shame on you, fool me, you can't get fooled again. That's the sort of people who control our government, who are dumb enough when prohibition of booze didn't work, it means try prohibiting something else and keep trying. This book shows, the war on drugs (it's a war on out there, buddy!) just makes the drug lords rich and ever more violent, while giving poliicians something to be against and giving drug czars jobs they can be powerful in. And it stops people from trying programs for drug treatment that might really help people who have addictions and craziness. All this so someone can ruin your life if you try some mind altering or mood altering stuff, espeically if you happen to be poor. When are we going to stop being fooled?
