Don't Adopt Because of you Midlife Crisis

Most of the stories in this book are inspiring, but I was offended by the one about the woman in her 50's who pursued her "dream" of becoming a mother by adopting a child from Siberia. This NOT a way to jump-start a stalled life, and people who do it might find out that becoming a parent at this age isn't what they bargained for. Tutor at a local school or babysit the neighbor's kids, for Gods sake.
