Booktrope was chosen as number one startup among 60 contestents in the Northwest Entrepreneurs Network First Look Forum.  This event showcases new businesses from the Pacific Northwest and we were gratified to receive this honor from the investor audience.

Foreword Magazine has selected two Booktrope books as finalists for their book of the year awards.  Terry Persun's Cathedral of Dreams was chosen as a finalist in the science fiction category and Nicole Persun's A Kingdom's Possession was chosen as a finalist in the fantasy category.   It's a truly extraordinary accomplishment for Nicole, who was only 17 when we published her book.  It's also remarkable to see a father and daughter both receiving this honor in the same year.  For more info about these awards, click here.
